Trying to find the correct headset
Hi All
I have just acquired a 90's GT Zaskar Frame (1997) and when I measure the head tube id with digital callipers I'm getting a reading of 1.30 inch (33mm) not the 1.25 its supposed to be (or is it?). Frame looks completely original and untouched...Any advice as to where I can find the appropriate headset for Straight 1 1/8 steerer tube....

Plenty of good info here but still need pics, good ones and plenty of them, just because, or it didn't happen.

And also because there is often a caveat that they will show.
You're almost there at 8 posts, just 2 more to go.

Want three different measurements? Have three different people measure the same thing with a digital caliper.
I'd order whatever the OEM spec says it should be, and go from there. It's a very low probability it's different.

WOW! Not normally a fan of this sort of thing but between the polish and to me an "Alien" vibe of the welds, this thing is pretty dang cool.
I'm no fan of threadless and this is certainly new enough but it really screams for a quill setup to me.
Tx for posting pics, assuming you did the clean and polish?

That's a badass frame, even the scratches look cool! Oh how I would turn that into a sweet urban bomber.
