Crankset interchanges?
I have an old J&B ten speed (compare Raleigh GP) and I'm rebuilding. (Thanks to those who answered my headset question).
I'm considering upgrading the crankset, the stocker has square mount BB. I've seen a lot of Campy cranksets out there with square mounts. Are they interchangeable with my cranks? Seems like everything on the bike was Suntour. Oh, I'm sticking with two rings.
Believe it or not, the cranks on this old bike were 165s. I'm 6'1", so I'm figuring 175s for me, no racing, just road riding over distance with some, but not a lot, of hills.
Thanks.

more than likely you'll be able to use any square hole crankset. There are some weird (there's that word again) French thingies out there, and a few square bottom bracket spindles without any slope, but mostly they all work. You have to watch the crank offset with the chainstays, and perhaps get another spindle to keep it the same...
