Where to find a sturdy rack for a roadster?
I am looking for a sturdy rear carrier/rack for my roadster, but would like something that doesn't look too modern. Does anyone know where to find one? Hell, I am planning a trip to India, the roadster capital of the world and could undoubtedly get one there. That said, I would like a rack sooner than that if possible.

Two places come to mind. You could try yellowjersey.org. They carry some parts for roadsters and may have a rack.
You could get one here - https://www.dutchbikebits.com/steco-sturdy-luggage-rack - but depending on your location shipping cost may be pretty high.

Pashley makes a roadster with 28" wheels and a rack for it. I called a local dealer a while back who said he could order the rack. He didn't know if it would work when I asked, but I don't know why it wouldn't fit pretty well.
