Brooks/Selle Royale

Is this the co. Brooks became? I got a notice from DHL informing me of a delivery of 'sport shoes', from Venice Italy. Of course I didn't orfer any, but I did get selected to be a Brooks saddle tester I'm guessing that's what's going on here.

So, it could maybe be just a matter of time when Selle Royale will be making Brooks saddles in China, like Selle Italia had been doing with their Turbo saddles?
if that's the case, I'm sure that they can build them to a good standard or maybe actually better, as China can pretty much produce any high quality product these days. What is sad is, the saddles will kinda lose that old English, almost artesinal "flavor" to them that provides that icing in the cake effect to a lot of C&V builds....
Same goes if they build the saddles in Italy.... Just not the same Brooks as we knew them....

Bikes: yes

If they moved production of Brooks Saddles to China, maybe they would start with the C19 model.

Are we sure they didn't?

At least they brought the Pro back only to sell out again, what are they thinking?

Well, considering the sale to Selle Italia happened ten years ago, they don't appear to be in any great hurry at least.

In the meantime, as long as Brooks keeps manufacturing in England, it will remain the UK variant of the saddle.
