Assuming you looked at the threads and the fixed side is right-handed, I have never seen a French bike like that. I would think it is a case of over-facing, but never say never. If it is French, that would be the coolest cross-over bike ever.

If it is over faced, spacers are an easy fix.

Actually, I'm a little bummed it's not French. It certainly would be a unique bike if it were.

i'm happy it's italian... i just bought some made in italy decals!
