Bikes: I can count 'em on one hand
C&V reading material
My kids got me some great books to read for my birthday about a week and a half ago. My daughter says there's still another one coming late; I'm thinking it's probably "We Were Young and Carefree" by Laurent Fignon and William Fotheringham. Hurray for my Amazon wishlist; they don't know what to get me otherwise!

I've read "Half Man, Half Bike," his book about Eddy Merckx, in the past, and I enjoyed his writing. He's no Steinbeck, but a decent writer nonetheless.

Anqueitil Alone looks interesting so far. I just started reading it yesterday. And it's only $3.99 on kindle.

Yeah, I fully concur. If I had the disposable dollars, I'd be trying to buy the full set.

The Loyal Lieutenant - George Hincapie was good.
Domestique - Charlie Wegelius also a good read
Team 7-Eleven - another winner
Did not enjoy Half Man, Half Bike. It was a difficult read for me. Disjointed.

Currently reading the Secret Race, story from Tyler Hamilton about life with the Postal team in the 90's. It's my follow up to reading Cycle of Lies. I just can't get enough of the big L and those crazy times in the cycling world.

Three Weeks Eight Seconds was very good. There were new facts in that book that I was not aware of.
I bought a used copy of Stephen Roche's autobiography Born to Ride on eBay. I enjoyed the book, but found this little surprise when I opened it.
