At age 72, I'm about as 'retro' as a cyclist gets . . .

retro-poseur?
I'm sorry, I just can't get excited about $121 gloves that I'm guessing
would be overly hot and uncomfortable.
Retro? real crocheted gloves with leather palm.

ok, I'll get off my soapbox now

Yeah - and out of stock too. The black-pink combo probably got bought out by the T-Mobile squad.

I'm with ya..... I'm using a pair that I bought new around 1990 or so. They're getting a littlle shop-worn, and I was beginning to wonder where I was going to find replacements. Performance to the rescue - they had some on closeout in the local store for $7.99/pair.

ultimate retro indulgence would be champagne, cigars and women the night before riding the world championships, a la Fausto. Although it'd more than likely kill me before I ever got to the starting line. The gloves are a lot safer (and cheaper) alternative.

Ditto to all the above, I got 2 pair of CyclePro crocheted/leather gloves at the Seattle swap meet a few years ago for $6. I'm 65 next month, so they may see me out!
