753 Lejeune
Thought I would share this. The person from whom I got my 753 Lejeune came across yet another one. What's the deal? I look for 15+ years and never even see one and he finds two in a very short period. He says he is keeping this one. This frame is more in line with the 753 frames I have seen in the catalogs. It is not BaCo built. Photos provided by owner.

Bikes: too many sparkly Italians, some sweet Americans and a couple interesting Japanese
Nice, what year are you thinking it might be. Not to clear for old eyes but looks like a pre-1982 decal before they got the racing/cyclocross/sprint R designation and the T for pursuit/TTs. I would love to find a 753T.

I looked for a long time for an upper end French bike and then within the space of a year, I picked up a 1982 Peugeot PXN 10, a 70s Mercier 300 and a '73 Motobecane Grand Record. These bikes aren't as rare as the Lejeune obviously but yeah these things happen.

One source told me that 753 Lejeunes appeared in the 77 TdF. He was a BP Lejeune mechanic on the tour.
