Bikes: Purchased a Soma "Speedster" in May '08 to replace my cludged-together Peugeot "UO-8" with alloy upgrades which will be up for sale on craigslist in the near future.

Looking Merz road bike owners

In 1978 I had a frame custom built by Jim Merz and from it, a bike built up by Spence Wolfe of Cupertino Bike Shop fame when he was located down in Pacific Grove, CA. It appears Merz only made about 460 road bike frames (mine is serial number DM160) and wanted to see if there was anyone else out there with one of these most excellent bikes. My son is now riding the bike and is the envy of all his biking buddies.
