Jersey from Spellscape!

This just landed on my doorstep!

It’s the jersey that Spellscape made! As I just pulled a BB when the letter carrier dropped this on my doorstep, photos of the jersey will have to wait until I have really clean hands.
Thanks Spellscape!

With clean hands, and clean clothes, I unwrapped the parcel. I’ll use Spellscape’s photo of the jersey here, as he did a better job than I can do.

The jersey turned out better than I could have hoped. First, because it was tailored, it fits. Ever had a bike built t just for you? Well, custom clothing is like that only better. Construction is first rate, and this is coming from someone who was raised by a professional sewer. Details, like the buttons were selected with care. Pockets are lined, to prevent stretch. I can’t wait to try it out.
I know it sounds trite to talk about a bit of clothing given what is happening in Ukraine and what is going on in Spellscape’s personal life, but I will be proud to wear something made by someone who is moving forward, despite obstacles that would stop me in my tracks. That is much more heroic than riding an old bike on gravel roads.

Mine showed up today, too!

I just posted in Spellscape’s original thread about mine showing up today, too! I totally agree that the work is excellent and he can make a good, well fitted jersey with the information he gets from you. I posted a Cycle Folsom Vintage ride for May 22 and I am looking forward to wearing mine proudly.
