Stumpy or no?

Possible local find. :foo:

Biplane fork crown seems nicer finished, seatpost clamp seems the same to me and a bit different as well.

Paging T-Mar with incomplete s/n. ;)

Bingo! ;)

Seat lug has the raised ring at the very top, all lugs and fork crown, dead ringer.

1994, Tange Prestige, Ritchey fork crown., last year.

Soody 05-11-22 11:49 PM

those brakes are very cool

whats the (spring?) in the straddle cable hanger for? :foo:

The Thin Man 05-12-22 12:26 AM

The parts alone (King headset and CNC'd brakes) are likely worth the price of entrance.

Andy_K 05-12-22 01:17 AM

Whatever it is, it would be perfect for this year's Cino.

Agreed and not sure, the seller isn't either, he's going to try and dig up the build sheet.

seypat 05-12-22 04:49 AM

jdawginsc 05-12-22 05:00 AM

Choke 05-12-22 07:11 AM

For sure! McMahon Racing Components had a few different styles of brakes in the 90s; the manufacturing looked a bit like their brakes so it was just a guess. But Control Tech is clearly the winner. Very cool find on your part!

Acura/Honda Basque red, wasn't my choice per se but a fantastic color and gets compliments wherever I go. ;)

Is it a spring or is it the excess brake cable coiled up?
