Huh. I've never seen these before. I guess that's why they're pricey.

Fancy-pants version of SRAM Rival 7000; Disrali Gears has it listed:

https://www.disraeligears.co.uk/site...html#Documents

I doubt if it'll bring the asking price. It's an oddity by virtue of scarcity, not by desirability or performance.

That rivals Shimano Sante in its "taste is in your mouth" vibe. Someone should put that on a pink Centurion Iron Man and rock the space-time continuum!

It's the perfect groupset for when your red Richard Sachs is not Sachsy enough.

Exactly my thoughts! The red looks like a match for his signature ATMO hue.

Oooooo...that and the Sachs idea below are winners.

...oddly I found another pair of those brifters elsewhere.

Yea they're cute, but not 1k cute, doubly so because the "Sachs" printing (engraving?) on the levers looks lame.

hmmmmm…
If I did brifter and wouldn’t really rather have that NOS my size Merckx.

Definitely a high cool factor on those. I see there was a cransket for this group as well. Hang it on a white Davidson Impulse…. Oh yeah!

"Hey, would you like first-gen Campagnolo Ergo shifters, but with a lesser finish and silkscreened lettering that harkens to all those NOS Modolo brake levers sitting in the back of the LBS that nobody wants?"
"What?"
"Have I got the half-groupset for you."

I also had these on my Bianchi! Odd that the articles never mention that they created the ergopower together with Campagnolo. Various sources claim the contribution ratio differently. Some say they designed the hole thing. Others say their ergo was badge engineered Campy. Most likely we'll never know... I was hoping a former top dog might say something about that.
