Weimann 670 Caliper

Looking at an old Weinmann 670 (ebay) for a rear caliper on an old '70's bike I'm trying to get back together. Does anyone know what the reach is? Can't find it online. Got a nice set of 605's (46 -60mm) which work for the front but need a little more reach for the back. Thanks, Jeff

Are you sure that’s the right model number for the Weinmann brake caliper? Nothing in Velobase for that one: https://velobase.com/ListComponents....9-39e8c62e5767

I think that, with some possible exceptions, the first two digits in the number Weinmann used for brake designations tells you the measurement to the bottom of the slot in the arms, as in your example of the 605 brakes.

nlerner, Thanks for the velobase.com info. The one on ebay looks like pictures of a 570 on velobase. Name and number is not embossed but printed in black and pretty much worn off so I think it's a beat up 507 which will not work. Seller hasn't gotten back to me yet anyway.
Trakhak, That's good to know about the model number, Thanks.
