Mancini?

So there's another thread about a vintage Mancini road bike, but limited information. I'm wondering, does anyone have any additional information?
I just picked this one up for 40$ CAD, I'm liking the components and how much the whole bike weighs (24 lbs). No dents, just scratches and rust. Made in Italy, I'd like to know the story.
If the frame wasn't too big for me, I'd keep it and bring it to Marinoni to repaint... Still might...

thank you for posting

one hears the Mancini name every day in my area when switching on the radio

it is a chain of bedding stores which must spend a fortune on advertising...

the cycle's OFMEGA Competition chainset is second generation

here is a first generation example which launched 1966 -

have you been able to make out any of the writing on the shield shaped transfer fitted to the machine's seat tube?

Appears to be quite similar to this E Bozzi Falck decal.

can you stand over the top tube? It could be setup as a rat-bike/ cruiser with a swept bar, then you could ride it.
easy to change back one day except those awful plastic levers and foam grips could be thrown in the bin

As I compare the photos, they seem to match, the letters at least. Thanks for the pic

Nah the top tube is really up in my groin, I thought maybe the bars weren't original, but it seems they are, 3TTT as well as the stem, but the plastic levers not so sure...
