ok, but Harold is how I was introduced to him. Bikeology was a big Bob Jackson importer in the second half of the 1970’s.

I was working for another local shop at the time, he did boast that Goldsmith’s shops turned over inventory value 5x per year. A typical well run shop would be pushing to turnover inventory value 3X.

Hello all, I can confirm Bob Jackson is now open and accepting orders.

There is a great deal of discussion above, I'm not able to address each comment individually.

We are hand building Bob Jackson frames here in Leeds, to the same standards as Woodrup frames.

In terms of the two names, we envision Bob Jackson catering to more traditional builds - lugs, rim brakes etc while Woodrup focuses more on modern builds. Rohloff belt drive tourers, road disc and gravel bikes.

Ultimately though we will be happy to build whatever the customer wants.

We're currently working on a Fleur de Lis lugged, 35mm tyre caliper braked frame destined California, USA.

I've created an Instagram and a Facebook page for Bob Jackson, which you're welcome to follow if you're interested in updates. We're still working on getting a new web page set up.

Along with the frames we've got some merchandise in the works.

Our Facebook is facebook.com/profile.php?id=100095053763843

You can email us on factory@bobjacksoncycles.co.uk

Alternatively shop@woodrupcycles.com

Many thanks for all of your interest,

Tom
