I got this Paramount from Flog00. I was in denial about the fit because it was so beautiful, but after I came to my senses, I passed it on to beicster.

This bike has the position of honor right now in the bike cave lording over all the other rides. :-)
Although, if I ever confirm that Olmo as having truly been ridden by Oscar Freire it will be come top dog and replace the Lemond.

My Hetchins Magnum Opus was purchased from Mark P, although the exchange took place through the CR list. Beautiful bike, and somewhat recently modified with lower gearing to permit riding in hills.

When I trying to sell the Paramount, I took it to the Ann Arbor swap. I thought I had it sold only to have the guy hand it back to me saying "I told myself no more tiny bikes". It's a 63.5 cm.

Here's the 1949 Raleigh Clubman that I purchased from clubman several years ago. It will remain being set up ala path racer until I can get the fender attachment tab sorted.

Another bike that was previously owned by another BF member is this Zieleman "Donna". Ko Zieleman was an Amsterdam builder of serious racing machines, and he built very few "girls' bikes". If there are more than a handful in existence I'd be surprised.
This is how it came up for sale on a local classifieds site:
I knew it was rare, it was mrs non-fixie's size, so I got in touch with the seller and ended up buying it. That story is here: Zieleman Donna
It turned out that the seller had bought it from fellow member pullup . This is how his version had looked:
I rebuilt it again to suit mrs non-fixie's preferences, and this is how she rode it at last year's L'Eroica:

A lot of my favorite frames came from here. All of these came to me as frames. I hope their previous owners won't be too disappointed with what I've done with them. With my picture selection, I've tried to do justice to the "in the wild" aspect of the thread, inspired by the great pictures @northbend shared of his Holland.
My first BF purchase was this 1983 Specialized Sequoia from @icepick_trotsky. I recall he said he never quite bonded with it, but it was like an old friend for me from the first time I rode it. I built it up with a motley assortment of parts I had on hand, but it all works so well together that the only thing I've changed is the wheels. (Pictured here at one of the scenic overlooks on the McKenzie Pass ride.)
Next up are two gems that I was lucky enough to buy from @shnibop. I think they were both projects that spent so long in the queue that shnibop decided to pass them along. I was more than happy to receive. First was a 1983 Gios Professional. This one had a beautiful patina to the paint and decals, which I've decided to preserve. I worked out a nice Superbe for Super Record trade with @nesteel that let me build it with similarly patina'ed components. Uncharacteristically, I've tried to stay period-correct with this one. My only concessions are modern wheels, a tall stem, and a Red Clover tripleizer (not seen in the picture below) on the NR crank. (Pictured here on the California Coast during a recent Eroica California weekend.)
My second frame from shnibop was a 3Rensho-built 1983 Specialized Allez. (I seem to have a lot of bikes from 1983.) This one is worth before-and-after pictures. It needed a bit of paint, as a previous owner (before shnibop) had made the dubious decision to sand the paint off of the lugs, and drewed the bottom bracket cable guides and chain stay cable stop. Here it is after @gugie replaced the missing braze-ons. The shiny silver is where fresh work was done. The rust is the state it was in when I got it.
I was planning to have the whole frame repainted, but I wanted to ride it first, so I decided to rattle can the bare bits. I bought two shades of red Rust-Oleum and in an amazing bit of good fortune, the cherry red was a perfect match. Following what I thought would be a temporary paint job, it looks nice enough that I've decided to just leave it like this. After all, a lot of the paint and all of the decals are original. (Pictured here near the start of the Otter Creek Loop off of Highway 101 on the Oregon Coast.)
Next on my list of BF acquisitions are a couple of frames I got from @gugie. I think I got these both at about the same time. First is a 1975 Motobecane Grand Jubilé. The paint on this was pretty OK when I got it, but then I returned to to the Atelier for some Gugificazione, so it went on to Groody Bros for powder coat. (Pictured here on the Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park.)
My second frame from gugie is a 1976 Stella SX-76. This was a bike I drooled over every time I visited the Atelier, where it hung from the rafters and was misidentified as an Atala (only the 'la' in the decal remained). Eventually, I broke down and bought it, but the sale was conditioned on the promise that I would send it off for proper repainting, which I did, getting a beautiful repaint by Jeff Bock. (Pictured here along the Columbia River Gorge bike trail.)
Finally, my most recent BF purchase is also my oldest bike. I got this ~1967 Peugeot PX-10 Super De Luxe from @Force. The build is not period correct, but it is what I've heard called a "sympathetic" build. The components aren't what the bike originally came with, but they look like what it should have come with. They're just newer and less plasticky. (Pictured here on a bridge along the Tualatin Valley Scenic Bikeway.)
