They will set you back a pretty penny, but totally worth it, in my estimation.
Officially STI debut in full capacity at the 1990 TdF. This includes the dual pivot brakes, hyperglide 8 SPD cassette, superglide chainrings, and the STI levers. The groupo was available in 1991. The STI brake levers were solid on the backside. The were changed a year later.

Yep…they introduced the return spring in 1987 in the AGC-251 levers.
