I don't think I've ever seen a budget price on that site. Not sure if it is even legit.

The ladies model is a steal by comparison - https://budgetbicyclectr.com/huffy-a...d-bicycle.html

And yes, it's "legit", in that Roger has the bicycles. There are some deals to be found in his used shop, but he also runs it as something of a museum, I'm sure he knows full well he'll never sell some of the bikes at the prices he lists. He doesn't care, he's the richest man in overalls in Dane County.

Not sure what it is, but not a Kestrel. I'm guessing the same research goes into pricing.

Link to the actual item - https://budgetbicyclectr.com/vintage...d-bicycle.html . Appears to be an Aegis or Aegis-built Trek - 1987 Kestrel 4000 Build (see posts # 17, 26).

Didn't the Aerowind come with the plastic grips on the drops with holes drilled in them?

When I was a kid, I thought that meant "PRO."

My wife likes the Chinese place across the street. Whenever we're out that way, she'll ask to go there, and I'll get a little bit to wander around BBC and not buy anything.

The guy in the ad looks a little bit too much like me - except he's going too fast.

It's good to hear I can get such an advanced and precise machine at my local Toys R Us.
