Who is the frame builder?
I have had this bike for over 30 years. The frame was given to me by a Pro Cyclist. It was hanging in his garage, it had been crashed and had a bent down tube. I replaced the down tube and repainted. I was told it was a Marinoni. I just checked with Marinoni’s builder and they said it wasn’t their frame. Can anyone identify? Thanks

I replaced it with a chrome moly tube. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...5f327b9b2.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...2589c81dc.jpeg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...a5a1843fc.jpeg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...bceb3f65c.jpeg |
I don't know who built the frame but it was nicely done :thumb:

It's a Marnati. The portacatena dropouts put it around end of 70s/early 80s, so it was likely built by Umberto Marnati, although possibly by his son Daniele.
