Who is the frame builder?

I have had this bike for over 30 years. The frame was given to me by a Pro Cyclist. It was hanging in his garage, it had been crashed and had a bent down tube. I replaced the down tube and repainted. I was told it was a Marinoni. I just checked with Marinoni’s builder and they said it wasn’t their frame. Can anyone identify? Thanks

Has fluted tubing but the down tube had been in a crash. I replaced it with a chrome moly tube.

Bikes: None in ridable condition

It's a Marnati. The portacatena dropouts put it around end of 70s/early 80s, so it was likely built by Umberto Marnati, although possibly by his son Daniele.
