Bikes: You had me at rusty and Italian!!

Unfortunately not. That color is only available on higher spec cars and it seemed a bit silly to spend thousands more just to get a car in that color. The extra features would be nice but the monthly payment, not so much.

Absolutely a great color choice.

Thanks Dave! I’m thrilled it presents as well as I hoped it would.

If I could offer an unsolicited opinion on bar tape and housing colors, I'd go for navy or dark blue bar tape and clear black/dark grey housing. If you wanna get saucy, use some yellow housing for just the rear brake.

1984/5 Trek 720 vibes (although this burgundy is much darker). I think that would look good.

Yellow housing is an option I am considering. My over analyzing means I might make a decision by 2027.

Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

I had Franklin do a paint job some time ago on a Cilo; top notch work.

The Merz looks great; it deserved a new coat of paint.

I find that when bikes have full housing in brighter/louder colors, it can overpower the paint and decals, which is why I suggested only the rear brake housing be yellow. It acts as an accent, referencing the yellow already present in the decals on your frame, while also allowing the other, more subtle grey/black housing to fade away visually. This lets the frame's paint job and decals really stand out.
