Shipping with “Thru”

I met these guys at MADE and it could be a great option especially if you are shipping something rare, high dollar, etc. Alternately, if you’re like me and don’t like dealing with prepping a bike for shipping, this is an option.

Yes, I know, not cheap but shipping stuff FedEx, et al has become spendy and these guys only remove pedals and leave the rest intact.

No affiliation, blah, blah…

BTW - they *may* ship to/from the Dakotas, MT and WY. Contact them to see if they can accommodate.

So they only ship overland via truck? I wonder how many bikes they pack in?

They claim to have a specific racking system and use their own vans to transport bikes. Even at $250/per, the profits seem slim even if they can carry 20 bikes per load but I isn’t a logistics guru.

At $250 across the U.S., I'd definitely consider this an option. I've got several bikes I've been intending to sell, but I really don't want to go through the trouble of packing a complete bike for shipment, and I'm not sure it would come out any cheaper if I paid someone else to pack it.

I see the poster says their system enables "manufacturers" to deliver bikes to customers. Will they work with private parties?

At the MADE booth they said they would. Their website mentions transporting team bikes so I call that a yes.
