Database For ALL Raleigh Models?

Especially the 80's ones. Sheldon Brown site just has the classic ones. I'm wondering for example , the difference between the Raleigh Record and the Raleigh Capri and the Raleigh Grand Prix. I know I'm going to get some idiot responses but I guess if it leads to some real info it's worth it.

Bikes: '68 Raleigh Sprite, '02 Raleigh C500, '84 Raleigh Gran Prix, '91 Trek 400, 2013 Novara Randonee, 1990 Trek 970

Part of the problem is Raleigh, like some other brands, made bikes with the same name for various global markets with different specifications

Totally agree. Clearly at some point in the late 70s early 80's Raleigh sold the name to some (Taiwanese?) Company and really became just a name to slap on cheaper bikes. Definitely makes the search more difficult once the Made in England cache was gone.
