Need an assist from some eagle-eyed N+1 enthusiasts. There's Centurion Pro Tour nearby (but not that nearby) that's caught my attention. The listing doesn't mention a size, what would you guess based on the head tube size?
Any sizing help would be appreciated. (And not mentioning this to the person to whom I'm related by marriage would be greatly appreciated.)

I have a couple pro-tours with head-tubes that size, and they’re both 53.5

53, maybe 54, center to top. I have an '83 Pro Tour that measures 55 ctt and the space between the top and down tube looks about 1 or 2cm more than this one. (this one being the one we're talking about in post number one)

‘this shows centerpull brakes and near midpoint pad adjustment, why I think a bigger frame. If the bike had short reach brakes, then 52 ctc would be I think a decent guess.
‘Japanese bikes also tended to have higher bottom brackets until the top tier models, that could argue a smaller frame, but often those bikes had longer top tubes to make the dimensions work better for no toe overlap.

I'm going to say 56. That's way off what others are saying ... but just looking at it in cold blood, that's what I see. On a 56x54 frame, a head tube can vary as much as a centimeter.

Mmmmm, why would you not ask the seller? You even indicated you know who the seller is. Go look at it with a tape measure perhaps.

SurferRosa FWIW I'd say 53is Ask them to measure the standover height for you and send a pic of how to do it. It's much simpler to explain to a novice then the whole center to center seattube bit.

That's why I usually ask a seller just to measure the standover height, it standard measure and much simpler to explain
