Soma sale

Got an email today, 50-70% off some interesting things, frames, racks, components, more. Any opinins on the Eldon rims? At $55 a pop I'm tempted to grab a pair for future unscheduled use. Thanks!

Interesting, heavy at 490grams in my view.

the order That was logged on 11/1 is to deliver today allegedly.
parts that they advised were out of stock and not on sale, are showing in stock still.
‘they are pushing to sell stuff but do not seem to have the warehouse and inventory management up to speed currently.

Those rims specifically (that's the normal price I think, they're not in the sale section AFAICT) https://www.somafabshop.com/shop/som...#attr=4098,153

Links are nice, but in this case the items aren't in a section by themselves, nor are they listed in the Sale section. They marked down the items in their locations on the site.

The rims are normally $110.
Because I'm a nice guy, here's a screen shot of the email so you can see what's been marked down. Hopefully you can click to embiggen

Holy Moley! Yeah, I guess they just didn't put them in the "Sale" section of the website for one reason or another.

Click the image on the email. It's a link.
It's how most retail emails work.

Are those rims any better or highly quality than Sun m13ii? I see they're only slightly heavier.

They look better. Nice graphic. Most of these modern box section rims all require some visual acceptance, just darn tall. The Nisi Sludi 390 looks promising but locating them at an acceptable price in silver…

Of note included in the sale are 8 speed KMC chains and those expensive heat treated Nitto handlebars in various bends.
There is also some NOS real Mavic tub rims.

Safe way to do this?
How is posting a link to a website not a safe way to have a conversation?
Is there any actual example of a Soma email being unsafe and somehow harming a person in real life or digital life?

Is winter kicking in early?
It hit 60+ both yesterday and today. If anything, it's crazy warm well into fall.

I'm not the one that posted some fear comment in the thread that has nothing to do with the topic and started this tangent discussion. Don't push that winter trope on me here.

I bought that fender light and regretted it. The batteries are very loosely held in place, and will lose contact when riding over bumps. Also the button on top requires harder and harder pressure over time. Finally, it is not totally waterproof. Loved the look of it, but the design and quality is sadly not that great.
