Anything C&V in Vegas?
I got the last min call.
Go to the FBO. Fly to vegas. F1 needs sommeliers.
After this nonsense, I will need to decompress with some bins.
anything?

Anything C&V in Vegas? Maybe the Raiders' winning tradition? The Madden/Stabler teams certainly were classics, and the team's glory years were long enough ago as to qualify as vintage. Otherwise, I got nothin'.

Pinball Hall of Fame just south of Mandalay Bay - about 400 machines available from the late 1940s to current. Some in great shape for their age, some beat-up and not working well, and some out of order, broken down and awaiting parts, or just gathering dust and not working anymore. You know, just like us.

Golden Steer and Bob Taylor's Ranch House (Rat Pack-era steakhouses)
Lots of great rides in Las Vegas valley for all cyclists (easy to find1000' of climbing in every 10 miles)

I saw Senna and Prost race in Phoenix in 1991. That's got to be C&V. Not much help to you though, sorry.

Far better is the River Mountains Loop Trail in the Lake Mead Recreation Area on the east side of the Las Vegas valley. The RMLT is approximately 33 miles of multi-use paved asphalt trail with no cars, and only a few walkers and other riders most of the time, especially during weekdays. Coyotes and desert big horn sheep are frequently seen while riding. If 33 roller coaster challenging miles aren't enough, you can take a connector along the trail that leads you to nearby Wetlands Park for another 14 miles of asphalt trail that's a blast to ride. If you know, you know.

That's good, but often congested with traffic and tourists. Even the main road to and from Red Rock Canyon can get gnarly with traffic though it does have a wide shoulder.

I was out there back in '06 so things may have changed a bit.....the Red Rock loop is about 11 miles and the traffic wasn't that bad when I rode it. If you park at the entrance lot and ride in, there are no fees. I also hooked up with a Sunday morning ride group that was mostly older folks.....don't remember any details but should be easy enough to find one. Bootleg Canyon and Blue Diamond have some fun off-road trails if you're into that.

Red rocks is where I ended up. No bike, but pretty drive and saw some wild burros.
bouldering is what I did to work off the Krug I was pouring. (One for you, one for me).
Not to bemoan the clientele, but they never pause to appreciate what they have in their glasses, how little is produced and the declared vintage doesn’t happen every year.
I don’t have a bike here and was really thinking of part bins, but the co-op in the north part of town is closed today.
funny, this area became an arts district. Found a Sunday/funday all day drag happy hour. But, you gotta play the part. (Warning, once seen, you cannot un-see - just a wig).
anyway, thanks for all the advice. Next time they send a jet, I’ll leave the badger and bring a Hinault.
see what I did there?

Hopefully you were able to steer clear of the manhole covers - tough on Ferrari's, likely equally tough on tubulars
