Here is something my brother in law just recently bought, the decals are 90% gone, and we are hoping to restore this back to life, any advice from the thread would be very much appreciated..

Lotussiddharta people here would love to help you with your new acquisitions but you should start your own thread for them as this thread is specifically for the Raleigh International model.

The detailing around the headstock remind me of the Raleigh Trent from the 1960s but that might have been a UK model and your is probably a US one.

I apologize for my rudeness. I was the victim of my own impulsiveness, for I somewhat idolize John Denver. He paid the price for two D.U.I's by losing his drivers license. The F.A.A. also revoked his private pilots license because of it, and that is why he was flying experimental class. So he kind of backed himself into a corner. He was modifying the fuel system on the EZ just before the crash, to automatically switch fuel tanks if one was empty. The real problem with that design is that there is no glide-ratio. He knew all of this, but he had a reputation as a risk-taker.
