Big Blue joins the pack.
Got this 1985 Cannondale SR300 very cheap (under $50.00) and it INCLUDED the downtube shifter assembly (with the hard to find throughbolt) and FD hanger. Headset and forks (non original) included). I had a full early 90s Dura Ace set w/ bar end shifters. I'll swap in the headset some other time. Nitto Olympiade bars, Nitto Technomic Blue stem (spare for the Cannondale Crest). I haven't taped the bars, as I may swap in a different stem. Selle Turbo (white) on order. Rides great. Yes, I'm that tall. EDIT**I took these in the middle of adjusting the brakes, so yes, I know the front pad is crooked.

85 Cannondales shed their paint (powdercoat?) in chunks - how is it that that one looks so good? Nice color.

Pedal to the medal
Something about that brake bridge is very satisfying. Beautiful bike! Enjoy the ride.

It's the taper, leading to the bulbous opening. I think the fact that it's semi spherical that makes it eye catching.

That's a beauty, I wish I had the original forks. Those look like nutted brake calipers.
