Bikes: Miyata 610(66cm), GT Vantara Hybrid (64cm), Nishiki International (64cm), Peugeot rat rod (62 cm), Trek 800 Burning Man helicopter bike, Bob Jackson frame (to be restored?) plus a never ending stream of neglected waifs from the Bike exchange.

Questions, questions
I just brought a few more bikes home from the Bike Exchange and I have questions.
First off let me say I have pics on my phone but my computer refuses to acknowledge it when I connect it. I think my hard drive is failing(lots of beeps coming from the machine) .
I will post pics asap.
First off, is an older Austro Daimler SL. (chrome cable guides) probably late 70's.
After going through all the head sets in the shop I could not find any that would thread on to the fork. In desperation I got out our fork dies and re threaded the fork with it so I could use the standard heat set.
What gives here. Did AD use some propriatary threading?
The second question has to do with a vintage English 3 speed. Again, sorry I can't show pics. It has a Sturmy Archer 3 speed hub with a coaster brake , a top tube mounted shifter, very odd steel side pull brakes front and rear with a unique cable which has a drum shaped end at the levers and a pear shaped end at the brake with an adjuster in the cable.
Further wierdness includes steel brake levers with 2 positions in the lever for attaching the cable.
The front fender comes to a very sharp point , definately not a raleigh fender.
The matress sadle says Herculese on it.
The bike is black with a head badge decal which is mostly unreadavle except for (made in?) Chadwell heath at the bottom.
Any of you 3 speed freeks know what this beast might be???

headset threads -
older and lower products from the factory in Graz employed a steerer of 26.0mm X 1.0
would not expect to find any such on an example badged A-D
probably a BSC steerer with damaged threads; either that or one made very slightly oversize due to manufacturing tolerances

Queations Questions
Finally got the photos. here they are. Based on the black out shifter WW2 vintage? The front wheel is a place setter off another bike . That rear wheel looks too good to be original. The cable covers are cloth!! I can't figure out how they made up those brake cables. I have never seen those brake levers before either.
