An unfortunate one that has been defiled by a kickstand?

No idea but looks ok if a good deal.

Well, at least it's a kickstand that does not crush chainstays.....

Are you sure about that, I've seen those whack out both the seat and chainstay as well as the wheel when they get jacked up.

Bikes: Numerous

You’ll want to google it but I believe crimps on top tube only would be a Mexico and crimps on top tube and down tube would be Nuovo Mexico. There are some other subtleties I think but if in decent shape and price I’d grab it.

A real Mexico has no crimps, it looks just like a Super but is built from ultralight KL/Record tubing. A Nuovo Mexico would have two crimps in the top tube and four in the down tube.

This looks like a Super Profil. two crimps in the top tube, two in the down tube and one each in the inside of the chain stays.
If I had to guess from the photos it looks like a Version 3.
