Not sure about Gios, but Merckx made a mixte frame called "Donna".

Have you ironed out the bike's problems? Are you going to keep it and ride it? I always wanted to try one of those because they look well made and they look fun to ride.

Everything is ironed out except the noisy wheels. My best guess is that it’s loose spokes rubbing together. It squeaks once per revolution, even at low speeds and even when I’m not pedaling. I plan to swap in different wheels to confirm and figure out whether it is the front or rear, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I’m definitely going to be riding this one. Other than the noise it was fantastic.
