Frame ID help please

Hi Guys,
Just stripped this frame down as it had parts I needed for another build - pretty sure the frame is junk as the top tube has some severe rust but its quite a cool looking frame - pretty sure its columbus sl, campy dropouts, Italian threads, bolted brake mounts not allen bolt, looks to have been repainted by a shop in Brittany, France in the mid `80`s - no decals, any ideas?

Thanks, Dan

that top headlug looks quite unusual, but want to see a better close-up in case I'm not reading it correctly. The long fluted stay cap is also distinctive ditto how deep the crimping is on the chainstays.
One pair of WB bosses but NO top tube cable guides or shifter bosses?

The pics don't ring any bells with me, but it does look interesting enough to be worth investigating if the rust is really fatal.

More and bigger pictures of the frame's details, such as lug cutouts, fork crown and BB shell, may help more knowledgeable people than me recognizing it.

serial?

markings on steerer?

underside of shell plain? or cutouts?

w/b and perhaps other braze-ons likely additions
is chain stay stop Campag Nr. 621 or something else?

if make additional imagery better lighting please

perhaps our @MauriceMoss shall drop in on his next forum visitation...

More pics - I`d say the cable guides on the BB shell were added when re-painted in the `80`s, serial bumber just 5 random numbers...

Thanks, Dan

thank you for the additional information & images

top tube rust consistent with trainer use
paint removal will afford opportunity to see if any pits go through wall

seat binder ears have been reinforced, a quality touch

serial: presence of two sets of marking in addition to size suggests possible licensing

yes, those pix are a help but so might be confirmation of the dropouts (guessing 'long' Campy 1010A or similar) and what seat post diameter fits.
Agreed that this probably came from the '70s when braze-on bits were not in fashion, so the WB bosses were added later. Ditto the nutted brakes, can't say if I've seen that forkcrown before based on the single pic.
Only thing that rings a faint (not reliable) bell for me is I think I've seen this style of stay caps on Romani frames, but @MauriceMoss will certainly nail this, as he always does!
