I was not impressed with the AcerMex Carabela SemiPro i owned and shipped free to a friend. He thought it looked nice, didn't ride much tho. A good match.

guessing the OP's example is a bit later than early '70s given the different forkcrown (see magazine review pic with the earlier style) plus what MIGHT be SunTour dropouts, which were later replacements for Campy DOs.
Juvela probably can zero in on when the changes occurred in the Acer-Mex timeline.
