Bikes: Cheltenham-Pedersen racer, Boulder F/S Paris-Roubaix, Varsity racer, '52 Christophe, '62 Continental, '92 Merckx, '75 Limongi, '76 Presto, '72 Gitane SC, '71 Schwinn SS, etc.

I wouldn't bother with this one, as the geometry is now steepened and with (apparently) no needed corresponding reduction in fork rake (needed to preserve the critical "trail" dimension).

As with all old and questionable bikes/parts though, I always consider loading, and the relative heft of the rider who will be riding it, the road surface conditions on which it might be ridden, and for how long(?). All of these factors can weigh quite heavily on the remaining fatigue life of hard-used, rusted or compromised structures.

All the way to the crash site.
I was going to suggest whatever the distance is to the dump.

it maybe (*maybe*) isn’t terribly dangerous to ride easy around town but I’d think the handling would be terrible and you’re just better off using a different frame.

I think those suggesting limited riding on this frame are nuts. Crunched downtube, cracked top tube - both right by the high stress headtube junction. How much warning does a rational person need that they are going to get killed?
