Help with identifying a British eagle MTB.
80s-90s? british eagle MTB
Pics should be in my gallery - if someone could post them for me would be much appreciated
it has 531 Reynolds tubing or at least some of it I think the top tube down tube
Dont know much about these bikes except the modern ones are pretty cheap and crappy and were made in wales?
Braised lugwork could be the correct term but I am still somewhat new to these terms and retro bikes
it looks fairly nice - nothing special I don't think but worthy of some half decent parts
The paint is thicker in some parts more than others but I'm fairly certain its original paint and decals
I was suspicious of the very untouched looking reynolds sticker but an experienced mechanic thinks its original
any info about the company / bike would be great
Cheers

I have never owned one but have heard British Eagle described as perfectly worthy and it looks like they made a pretty reasonable high spec touring model. If you like it there are plenty of mid range parts available for not too much money at the moment so build it up and ride it, the modern cheap crappy ones will be made in Asia not Wales.
