Happy Birthday to Me

So this arrived yesterday. My present to me.
A bit crusty and sort of cosmetically challenged but undamaged. Probably get a repaint this summer. Serial is 98E028 and I'm guessing 1998 but what the rest means would be interesting to know
Anyway, 2x9 Ultegra coming up with some nifty DA 7700 downtube shifters and Fulcrum wheels.
I would welcome knowing about the numbers if anyone might have info on that.

Slight Klingon look to the top of the seat tube.
Beware of possible hidden cloaking device, which incidentally, the Romulans came up with, first.
