Hi Domenico,
If you could upload a couple of photos it would help, you cannot post them to the thread yet but someone else can do it for you then hopefully it can be identified and advice given.

Bikes: ... but look, they're all totally different!

Hang on to it/don't sell it until it is properly identified. Bridgestones command a premium price in used sales, but it is very dependent on model and year.

Other than the year, serial number won't tell you which model the bike is.

Based on the Bridgestone database, your bike was made in February of a year ending in a 7.

Bikes: Waterford Paramount Touring, Raleigh Sports 3-speeds in M23 & L23, Schwinn Cimarron oddball build, Marin Palisades Trail dropbar conversion, Nishiki Cresta GT, Jeunet mixte

Welcome! Describe the bike and be specific: color of frame with descriptors (dark green, metallic red, etc.), size of wheels/tires, names of components. That will help us to narrow it down until we can see photos.

Or MB-1, 2, RB-1 certain others with Ritchey tubing, designed crowns, fork, etc depending on year but especially last or transition
