Foldable vintage Peugeot
Hey folks, we are preparing to sell a beautiful vintage Peugeot bicycle, which is foldable and in good original condition. We believe it is over 50yrs old. We live near Brisbane. We have no idea of a suitable price, but thought $250 AUD might be okay to ask for it. I can send photos but cannot include them in this thread/post, sorry as I am new to this forum. Any feedback?

Welcome -- if you want to post for sale, you need to be a paying member, but the subscription is not expensive. After you post ten times (meaningfully, not nonsense posts), then you can post photos -- it's an anti-spam measure.

The folding Peugeot was called the Nouveau Style. These came in folding ("pliable") and non folding versions. A folding one is pictured below.

Looks like there a few models. The DA40 are the ones I see the most.
From its general appearance it looks like it might be a mid-seventies model similar, but not identical, to these. It doesn't look like the UNS 40 folds, and the DA 40 E doesn't have a rear derailleur or the same folding mechanism. I don't believe these and similar models are particularly rare.
