Identify this Specialized front shock

This came off an early 90s Stumpjumper I am restoring. I can't find much information about these front shocks. Is this a just a rebrand RockShox? The fork still goes up and down but very soft. How do I do maintenance on this if that's even possible? Is it better just to put a rigid fork instead of restoring this?

'93ish future shock, which is what they have called a whole bunch of Specialized branded shock things.
