Bikes: Some silver ones, a red one, a black and orange one, and a few titanium ones
Since we are showing hangers, here’s some of my collection. From the right, Diacomp roller, a knock off of the Ringle, an Onza Chill Pill, a Christmas tree (?), and an Avid Tri-Dangle knock off.

A closer look at the rude one.

I think it came from Lizard Skin.

And the collection of Moon Units I have.

Another issue I have with these arc style hangers, is that there is no pinch bolt fixing the straddle cable. Why is this needed? Because sometimes it's convenient to pull the straddle cable left or right to center the brake pads. Generally the straddle cable doesn't slip. But I feel more secure if it was pinned there with a pinch bolt after you do the centering.

I never used them, but I had a set that I passed on to someone who loves them!

Incorrect. Wire rope…which is what a bicycle cable is…has a know, defined, and calculated stretch under tension. Here’s a bit of reading and a bit more and a calculator. Granted bicycle cable is thinner than anything on the chart but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t stretch under tension.

Bikes: A few but not too many. Some new, some old. High ratio of Frenchies. Metal only.
I always thought the rollers looked neat, but they are such a pain to adjust. The third hand tool can’t get any purchase on them and the cables always end up contorted.
I’m switching a few bikes over to moonies in the next week or two to avoid future fussing.

I'd suggest going for what I think is the most solid set up: Odyssey Straddle Rods. I never had a problem with them on my Pedersen SE brakes! You might be able to find them on a popular auction site but make sure you get the right length!
(Before anyone says anything, I did mange to correct the DS adjuster since this picture was taken)
