It won't happen to me, because my wife spends more than I do, and she is always happy when I splurge a bit on myself. I thought the CycleArt custom paint job on the 1959 Capo was an extravagance, but she's an artist, and she absolutely loves the way it looks, so money well-spent.

I usually try to quickly change the subject, after the "interrogation" starts...
She usually ends up laughing about it.....and all is fine.....​​​
