1942 CCM bicycle

Just obtained this 1942 CCM bicycle. Maybe a Rambler or Cleveland model. Would anybody here know what would be an appropriate headbadge for it?

This is a '42 CCM roadster. Yours was perhaps a rebrand like a Rambler or some other marque given the patina on the headtube.

Here's Rambler headbadge of pre-war era but no date.

Thanks!. Indeed, it may be a Rambler.

From: Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada - burrrrr!

Bikes: 1958 Rabeneick 120D, 1968 Legnano Gran Premio, 196? Torpado Professional, 2000 Marinoni Piuma

I have the Redbird head badge and insert. Problem is, Old Man Winter is holding them hostage at my lake cottage. Mother Nature dumped a load of heavy crystalline snow on Thunder Bay yesterday, coupled with minus twenty something temperature and were also coupled with considerable winds. Just walking to get to the morning paper, about a two hundred yard walk each way, saw me huffing and puffing by the time I got home with tears freezing on my cheeks. If you can wait for spring, Bob's (that's me) yours uncle...

I also have this CCM badge...

I do apologize for the poor pictures but they are all I have access to until Spring.
