Eye Strain Now this is a bike you definitely will be able to spot in a crowd. It was sold by Target as a Messoni whatever that means.
When we received it all we got was the frame and fork plus an attached full chain case in the same pattern, unused, with the sales stickers still attached. That chain case was just too much so it had to go. I will probably use it somewhere else, maybe with an all black frame.
The bike was originally a single speed. The only700c rear wheel I could find with a coaster brake was 1.5 Inch wide so that was installed using a 700 x 40 street tire with a reflective stripe. The front wheel is narrower and got a 700 x 25 white tire.
Up front there is a 1" threaded to thread less adapter and thread less stem mounting some white 2" riser bars.
A new chain, pedals and drive train with a 44 tooth chain ring and 22 tooth rear cog should make for effortless cruising.
This is basically a new bike. The frame,fork, stem, bars, grips, rear wheel , chain are all new and the cranks, tires and saddle are "good as".
It will be interesting to see if it sells quickly or not.
