It is. Peugeot went through a period where French, Swiss, or English bottom brackets were used, but by the time the Carbolite lugless frames appeared, they had settled on English:

Many years ago, my cousin showed up at my place with a Motobecane Mirage frame, a new wheelset with aluminum rims, and a box of new upgrade parts, and asked me to build it up.

The frame was a good 2" too big for him and the chainstays had been crushed by a kickstand. For what he spent on parts, he could have bought a brand new Grand Jubilee and had money left over, but he was happy with it.

In the first photo, there’s a sign behind the bike that talks about the services the shop offers to farmworkers.

As I read this post ride, warm and dry, I’m reminded that I ride by choice, not necessity.

Part of the reason I donate some much time, effort and money to this organization. They just do good things.

Working at a coop can be an act of love. I've volunteered at the coop in Brooklyn. Some folks who come in can't afford much at all in life, and we get them moving. Sometimes, it enables them to hold a job.
