Where does it say it was made? Looks like Taiwan maybe?

Where is it located?

Fork is taiwan. Tubing decal says seamless cromo from USA. BB has an italian thread. Abit on the heavier side, frame only at 2.43 kg for 55 cm c-c. Frame is in Sweden.

Some suggested a connection to Miguel Maria Lasa, a Spanish cyclist.

Bikes: 1967 Paramount; 1982-ish Ron Cooper; 1978 Eisentraut "A"; two mid-1960s Cinelli Speciale Corsas; and others in various stages of non-rideability.

I don't know about their frames, but they make a ton of fair-to-middlin' potato chips.

<rimshot> I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

According to the folks at Velo Classique, it's from Spain:

I would have to put a stylized letter 'Y', phonetic 'ee', or maybe even an 'ae' diphthong after the 'LAIZ'.

that sounds correct. The pix from Velo Classique show "M M" before the "Laiz" on the down tube, plus panto on the forkcrown reads "LASA"
Also that example used Reynolds 501, so a tad on the heavy side would also be right. If this example used some kind of USA tubing perhaps it's something from True Temper

There is another one on the same page. Where the rabbit is visible on the logo like mine. That one might actually be an exact match.

On my bike it seems the faded italics seems to read "Arbelaiz" in spanish.

Found some Model names: RONDINELA, BIDASOA, CINCA

CINCA is a really nice one with crimped main triangle and engraving on the frame.
