The Linton

This is my restored 1949 linton but has the 6 speed upgrade on it done in 53-58 period of time with the French wheels that are 1 3/8 x 1 1/2 a hard tire to get (40-584)

Take notes , I have yet to see any other that has the break and shift cables go inside the frame ? Any idea . It's definitely factory done !

This is the shifter cable going into the bottom frame tube and the cable comes out before the bottom bracket ! I put the K-ring electric kit on it and it's fast enough (27) mph ! About 35 miles with out pedaling .

Seems fishy. I see it says Lenton on the top tube, but it looks like an '80's Taiwanese bike. Details are way wrong for a 40's/50's Raleigh?
