Help identifying Shimano hubs
Hi, very new to vintage bike restoration and I am trying to clean up a Univega Super Strada that I think is c.1981 w Shimano Dura Ace components. The hubs seem a little odd to me. They have Dura Ace marked end caps that are a grey-brown plastic material that I haven’t seen in any of the vintage dura ace photos I’ve found online which all seem to have black metal caps. The front hub inscription is Shimano, w a small logo and “FA”, and there is an oil port w a clip. The rear hub inscription is Shimano with “EG” and no logo, and does not have a port. There are no other markings that I can find on either one. Can anyone tell me any more about the model/year on these hubs? are they mismatched? Also - I’ve tried to unscrew the caps using the small hole but they just spin, so how do I remove them? Afraid to try prying or anything else that will damage the plastic. Including a pic of the araya rims too, in case that is helpful w the dating although I know it may not prove anything
Thanks for any help

Thanks for any help

FA and EG are the datecodes, see: https://vintagecannondale.com/info/shimano/
FA means January 1981, Eg means it is from july 1980

81-82 Super Strada is an excellent frame. That’s a long term keeper.
