Does anybody have any info about 1978 road/touring Bridgestone? Suntour deraileurs and center-pull brakes but don't know anything else. I have the opportunity to buy it for about 70 dollars but have not seen it yet. Will probably use it for actual touring. Tried looking in BOB briefly but could not find anything about it.

I believe that Bridgestone entered the bicycle market in 1983.

More information is needed. Model name? Tubing decals?

Maybe 1983 is the Grant Petersen joined them.

Speaking of tubing decals, how are the French 531 decals coming along?

The decals came in the mail today and they look great! You do nice work and I'm sure your new business will be a big success.

I've got another job for you:

A pair of gold outline Peugeot lyons similar to the ones shown for the Comete:

https://www.yellowjersey.org/peudecal.html

I'm having my wife's Peugeot MTB powder coated. I already have downtube and headbadge decals.

The reason I'm posting this here is because I need help with this one. I need a Tange MTB tubing sticker. I saw pictures of them somewhere, but now I can't find them. Can somebody help me out?

By the way, I like looks of that Bridgestone. I don't think I've seen a Bridgestone I didn't like, except maybe the MB-Zip.

I had a Bridgestone road bike in the early '70s. It was my first "adult" bike. I don't remember too much about it besides the Suntour deraillers, stem shifters and those brake lever extensions.
