Picked this up at a Goodwill for $8.00. It has 1024 tubing and Shimano Skylark. 5 speed. I know it is a lower end bike, but I know nothing about this brand. Doe's anyone have an idea of the approximate age of this bike?

Check the codes on the crankset, derailleurs and hubs against what you see at www.vintage-trek.com. Just for giggles, I'll guess 1985 - the operative word there is guess.

Hard to tell for sure from the photo, but it looks like it's in really good shape. That's one excellent catch for $8.00. Hope you enjoy riding it.

It really is in good shape. A few nicks here and there, probably redo it for one of my adult kids or kid in law.
