Hello!
I managed to make some photos of my bike, with the opinion that you can help me in getting some info. First, i would like to know about the frame. From what year it is, that type it is... etc? Is there in any catalog some pics of bike like mine? I would like to know, what were all the original components with this frame. The shiftings are Campagnolo. The rear is Nuovo Gran Sport from '74 year. Is the front the same? Is the frame from the same period? On the frame there is somethiong like serial number.....i is something like xx1920 - where this xx might be 66 or 86 or 56, what do you think? Can this give some information?
Please, my english is not so good, please, see the page about my bike, and give me here as many info as you can.If you need more pics - ask what to shot and to upload.
Thanks!

The page with pictures is www.chesini.co.sr
Thanks!

I'll try to give some info from what I know about Chesini. Chesini frames are made in the beautiful city of Verona, Italy. You can see the Roman Arena (now used to give opera performances) in the logos on the bike.
From what I see the bike is from 78 - 80. The gearlevers and the front derailleur would indicate that. But they could have been replacements. But gearcables under the bottom bracket shell makes me lean towards later than 77.
What I like about it is primarily the style: very nice. But the brazing of lugs etc. is very sloppy. Maybe a lower priced model. The 'Chesini' engraved headset would indicate that too, as would the Sugino bottom bracket. Again that could have been a replacement.

'3 volte campione del mondo': 3 times world champion.
That's all the info I can give.
Have a look at some catalogues here: https://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/chesini2/

Don't sell it, ride it!

I think that i found that the model is "Gran Premio". I would like to know how bikes were equiped in that time, and what were the original parts. Also, can some info be given by analyzyng serial number?
